St. Francis Convent School is established and administered by the Sant Francis Shieshek Sanstha a Charitable Society registered in Bareilly on 12th April, 1989 under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1960.

St. Francis Convent School was founded in 1986. It was established by the Francisian Charist Sisters with the object of imparting modern education primarily to Catholic students in a manner that would conserve their Religion and Culture," but is open to all irrespective of religion, caste or community.

This institution is situated in one of the healthiest part of Bareilly and is, therefore, an ideal institution for parents guardians to whom the health of their children is a matter of prime importance.

The School provides education from classes I to XII. English is the medium of instruction.

The School aims at developing the multi-faced personality of a child by including physical fitness and health competitiveness, leadership and self expression, ideals of Indian culture, through games and athletics and the monitorial system, dramatics. Public speaking value education and moral instruction. Though the medium of instruction and examination is English the School gives equal importance, in all co-curricular activities, to Hindi by cultural activities, debates, Inter religious Prayer services. It also endeavor’s to make School education and activities contributing to India's Cultural Heritage part of the national mainstream of life; and to make students scholars, gentlemen and responsible citizens of India.
